PLOT!
kempton manor was once one of the most illustrious buildings available within the united kingdom, the inhabitants travelling miles just to relax within the lushly decorated rooms. rest amongst the other guests and just wait for their last few days upon this earth to dwindle down to zero. for this building wasn't the holiday retreat that it appeared to be, available only to the wealthy and the well connected, kempton was once a hospice. a place for those with money to be comfortable before they succumb to the everlasting darkness of death. the halls here were once filled with smiling doctor's and nurses, the feel of lingering hope and the serene surroundings weren't marred by an ounce of pain. this facility was open until nineteen hundred and thirty-six when the patients and a large majority of their families were brutally murdered as they slept.[/center]
nobody found the killer. nobody knew how he, or she had gained access to the building. all they knew was that they had been merciless and left not one clue behind for the police of that day to look into.
the hospice was rightly closed. the blood stained walls and the cold presence of death eventually leaving it empty and desolate. the building dying a silent death of his own. passing on to the next owner in nineteen ninety four.

the new owner, who's name is unknown to this very day, converted the old building into a boarding school in just a few weeks and it wasn't long before students began filling these newly refurbished halls. all beautiful, elite students who seemed too perfect, too graceful, too timeless. it was eerie, the school was difficult to get into and nobody in the surrounding town, no matter how talented or wealthy could pass the gates.
but in nineteen hundred and ninety seven the students perfection began to become a little more ordinary, people could enter from the nearby town. the school became less exclusive. the students aren't aware as to why until they've enrolled. the vampires, the elite and beautiful beings that had inhabited the building for years, required cattle. they needed humans to feed off of and having them learning beside them was so much easier than having to hunt.
it's now the year 2009 and the school runs smoothly to the untrained eye. but there is a tension forever rising. the vampire courts are beginning to exclude each other, fights arising in the corridors over silly little things. and the humans? they're stuck in the middle, either becoming pawns for certain vampires plans, weapons or shields. the deaths in the school are rising, the vampires are attempting to be a little more careful under a direct order from the headmaster.. but it's difficult. the humans are so fragile and with tensions rising they are so hard to resist.
